On Sunday 7 November 2007, I had the opportunity to photograph the Terry Fox Run which is held every year in aid of cancer research.
It was a really meaningful event where both young and old, people from all walks of life, color, and creed came together at the KL Lake Gardens to participate in a good cause.
This ‘Marathon of Hope’ started when Terry Fox, who was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 18, decided to run across Canada to raise funds for cancer research. Even though he died before he could complete his crusade, his legacy continues yearly in all who take part or donate to the event all over the world.
