Working with you sure makes a photographer forget about time, and the few hours spent on this shoot along with a few fellow photographers were full of laughter and excitement. I think your professionalism and versatility spurs us on to achieve the best.

When it comes to shooting indoor studio portraits, directing the model can often be a challenge to a photographer, unless you are working with a professional like Adeline. She is the first runner up in the Malaysian Dream Girl 2008 Season 1. All I needed was to make a few suggestions on the kind of look and feel we were trying to achieve, show her some samples shots from a magazine, and she immediately knew know how to transform and evolve throughout the shoot. And together, we were able to come up with some pretty unique and creative ideas.

I look forward to working together with you again for other projects in the future, and I think you can really go far as a professional model.

Lastly, but not least, some words of thanks to a few sponsors:

You must be wondering why it has been kinda quiet in this blog the past month. Anyway, this is what we have been doing behind the scenes.

More to come within the next few days, so do come back to find out what it’s all about. ;)

Two weeks ago, I received a call from one of the organizers of the ‘No Plastic Bag’ Concert, requesting for my help to photographically document the charity event.

This concert is in aid of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) and Independent Pet Rescuers (IPR), and to raise awareness towards the importance of recycling to save our environment. The event was organized by Yayasan Nanyang Press and the Recyclists.

Without a second thought, I heartily said ‘Yes’!

I remember a few years ago when I was hiking in Gunung Irau, Cameron Highlands… and noticing the number of empty mineral water bottles and plastic bags discarded along the trail. I remember feeling really angry and asking myself what kind of society it is that we live in, with no respect nor concern for the environment. In the end, my friends and I ended up carrying more load during our descent from Gunung Irau, because we had filled our backpacks up with the empty mineral water bottles and plastic bags that we found along the trail.

But the question is, ‘How long and how many times can we do this?’

More importantly, it is vital to solve the problem at its root cause, and to raise awareness and educate people on the importance of being environmentally conscious, and to protect and preserve our environment for a better future.

Anyway, it is really an honour to be part of the project, and to be able to contribute to this effort. And kudos to all the artistes, celebrities, sponsors, technicians, and everyone else who contributed to the event, you guys are my inspiration! :)

And not forgetting, Eastin Hotel who sponsored the venue for this event.

Enough of my rambling… let’s take a look at the photos. :)

Time flies really… shooting your Registration of Marriage Ceremony in February seems like just a few weeks ago.

Both of you sure do have great taste in choice of music, design and location for a wedding. The Westin  KL is such a cool place to get married at!

The series of photos taken in QBA  are one of my personal favorites. How I wish I had more time for even more artistic shots before the ceremony started! It’s every wedding photographer’s dream to shoot such a wedding! ;)

Here are the series of photos and preview slideshow to share. Happy viewing!
