Destination Wedding

What are the perfect ingredients for a great pre-wedding photography shoot?

I sum it up in these few points:

1. Great weather with a perfect blue sky
2. A glorious sunset
3. The company of great friends
4. A crazy couple that trusts their just-as-crazy photographer

We had so much fun on this trip, and this is one the most luxurious destination pre-wedding trips, in terms of team members, that I’ve ever had. We had a make-up artist along on the trip, as well as two other photographer friends, Edward Chan & WS Chen, shooting together with me. A big thank you to all of you who made this trip so unforgettable for me and my wife, Julie, who was also assisting in coordinating the trip.

Mix all the people together, and Voila… this is what we get!!!

Vincent and Felicia are a really sporting couple. It was great fun photographing both of you, and I’m honoured that you’ve booked me to be both your pre-wedding and actual wedding day photographer!

The long-tailed boat is synonymous with Krabi.

And then on to the speedboat.

Krabi is famous for its beautiful pristine white-sand beaches and limestone Karst formations.

Maya Bay is where the popular year 2000 movie, ‘The Beach’, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was filmed.

Some fun Bollywood Movie-Star style shots.

Sunset shots in Krabi, cannot be missed.

And finally, a Trash the Dress Session. I’m so thrilled that Vincent and Felicia are so sporting, and to know that they had as much fun as I did on this shoot! In fact, Felicia even made a dress specially just for this shoot!

I look forward to shooting your wedding later this year in Kuantan, Pahang.

Sorry for the long silence the past few weeks. They have been really hectic but fulfilling.

Last week, my wife. Julie, and I had the pleasure to work together with Jenny Sun to cover Jeff & Nancy’s wedding in Phuket, Thailand.

There are so many photos to share, so it will take some time to load, but believe me, it’s well worth the wait. So just grab a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy.

I would say this is one of the most beautiful chapels I’ve ever seen, and their pricing is quite reasonable compared to wedding chapels in many other destination wedding locations in Asia.

Phuket is indeed one of the most happening tourist destinations in Asia, and if you are planning to have a destination wedding overseas, I strongly encourage you to consider the wedding chapel at Laguna Phuket as your destination wedding location. Their staff was really professional and attentive to every single detail of the bridal couple’s wedding day.

Come 2008, I will be launching an affordable range of destination wedding packages for pre-wedding and actual wedding day photography.

Last week, I was in Bali and here are some photos to share. Hope you enjoy viewing them.
